The Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve is a protected nature reserve in Quintana Roo. This natural paradise is located on the Caribbean coast and was declared by UNESCO in 1987, a natural heritage of humanity.

In Maya “Sian Ka’an” means “spell, gift or gate of heaven”, this reserve covers an area of 528,147 hectares covering reefs, coasts, mangroves, lagoons, jungles and other ecosystems. It covers the municipalities of Tulum and Felipe Carrillo Puerto. The reserve is home to an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna.

Description

Our transportation service is included. We will take you from your lobby or meeting point to reach our base in Tulum, where you will be received by our Staff.

You will board the transportation to the Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve. In an adventurous dirt road we will cross part of the reserve, until we reach the point where you will board the boats to start the safari, where we will begin to observe different types of birds in the mangroves. Then we go in search of sea turtles and dolphins in their natural habitat.

Later we will go to one of the most physical and fun activities of the tour that is snorkeling in the reef. After a little swim, we stop at the wonderful natural pool to take a Caribbean bath and cool off with drinks.
